10th grade Divergent Compare and Contrast

I hope you all enjoyed our field trip to view Divergent in theaters yesterday!

 

Your assignment today is to compare and contrast the book with the film on your blog. 

1. In your first paragraph, introduce Divergent: the title, author, setting, characters, actors, and basic plot. 
2. In your second paragraph, write about things that were SIMILAR between the two.
3. In your third and 
4. fourth paragraph, pick two things that were DIFFERENT and write about those.
5. Finally, in the fifth paragraph, write a conclusion. Include your overall opinion of the book and film.
   
   Please use interesting verbs and descriptors in your writing!

Extra credit essays will be limited to one per quarter as of now. Make sure to practice good study habits, complete your homework on time, and make your best effort to get a good grade!
