Extra Credit

According to the National Testing Service, if students understand the following words, they will score higher on standardized assessments:

2. infer
3. explain
4. describe
5. summarize
6. contrast
7. analyze
8. formulate
9. predict
10. support
11. compare
12. evaluate

Define each and use it correctly in a sentence for one extra credit point each for a total of twelve extra points!

They are all verbs.
