Extra Credit
According to the National Testing Service, if students understand the following words, they will score higher on standardized assessments:

10th grade Divergent Compare and Contrast
I hope you all enjoyed our field trip to view Divergent in theaters yesterday!
Your assignment today is to compare and contrast the book with the film on your blog.

- In your first paragraph, introduce Divergent: the title, author, setting, characters, actors, and basic plot.
- In your second paragraph, write about things that were SIMILAR between the two.
- In your third and
- fourth paragraph, pick two things that were DIFFERENT and write about those.
- Finally, in the fifth paragraph, write a conclusion. Include your overall opinion of the book and film.
