1.) The author shows how gullible and scared they are. He is showing that they are believing ghost stories.
ReplyDelete2.) When she gets a bad coughing fit, they ask if she is all right. They notice that her middle name stars with a L and when they turn around to question Lena she is gone from sight. Right after she disappears it starts to rain.
1- The author says the people are scared and believe there actually are vampires in their town.
ReplyDelete2- When she is coughing the ask whats wrong and she was gone. They see that the girl who died has the L on her grave and on the bracelet that she placed on the grave.
1- The author tries to portray the townspeople by making them seem really scared, and like they have done the exhumation trail before. Therefore, the author makes the story seem more realistic.
ReplyDelete2- Lena became really intense and the thing she described about her spirit, the only person that would be able to describe what happened to her spirit would be her. They noticed that the bracelet Lena left on the grave had an "L" on it and when they turned around to question her about it, the mysterious girl in white had disappeared.

ReplyDelete2-Lena had pale skin like all vampires and in the beginning of the story said that her name was Merscy Brown when asked who she was. She also wore a braclet that had an L on it that stood for Lena or the middle name of the vampire, Mercy Lena Brown.

Lena describes the story so well and in depth and detail like she was there, and when she told them how it let her spirit go that was a clue but, when they read her name on the gravestone was the same as her bracelet they caught on when they went to ask she was gone and it began raining.
